<pre-post contrition> Hi all. Sorry I’ve been slacktacular on posting lately. The short update is that the new job and the night job have been doing great (but as always, busy). The CTF pre-qual was really a great time even though we didn’t end up placing (I intended to post more on that previously… hopefully there is more to come).</pre-post contrition>
So, I just came back from BeanSec tonight. It was a good time. I didn’t really know about the CitySec scene until recently, but it seems interesting. From what I can see, it’s a social professional computer-security get-together. For all of the MRL crowd (or others in the bay area), it looks like there is a BaySec meeting in SF as well (also held tonight). The local group was pretty fun, and I hope to attend some more groups like this.
