Fun with GeoIP

With the wealth of GeoIP data available(thanks Maxmind) I have set out to map all assigned IPs on the internets. So geoip2kml was born. Instead of the usual ip to lat/long lookups, this tool will not only tell you all assigned IPs to let’s say San Francisco but will also generate a KML file ready for display in Google Earth. As they say a picture says a thousand words, so here a screenshot:
